Since the establishment of the Umnga Farmers Group in 1989, our focus has always on the development of disadvantaged farming communities by providing a service of intensive training and development that related to sustainable job opportunities, food security, a sustainable income and a positive attitude, whilst protecting the natural resources and environment.

A non-profit organisation to support food security, financial stability and a positive mindset in every farmer.

MISSION

Through a better understanding of our innate mental wellness and resilience, our Vision is concluded through:

  • bringing agricultural education to the doorstep of every prospective farmer
  • making every individual’s dream towards self-sustainability a reality
  • capacitating of disadvantaged communities
  • enabling children to start their career whilst in school
  • sustainable land management and protecting our natural resources
